Ryan's Disneyland Trip

Photo relating to the story We have two lovely sons Joshua 18 months old and Ryan 5½ yrs old. A few weeks ago we returned from our amazing 3-day trip to France with Christian Lewis Trust.

THIS IS OUR STORY:-

Due to a long car drive we decided to stay the night before departure in a hotel in Ashford cost £60. It only took 10 minutes to drive to the station.

We arrived in France and straight away got onto the shuttle bus that took us to our hotel.

The receptionist gave us our room (an hour early) and she gave Ryan a bag and said Micky Mouse just left it for him it had a large Micky Mouse teddy that he slept with that night. We left our cases in the room and walked to Disney Park wisely we brought a buggy for both boys so much walking. My feet kept me awake that night "throbbing". Any way we arrived at the park just in time for the 4 p.m. parade.

It was the most wonderful start to the holiday as the music started and the characters appeared, the look on my son's face melted me. I was choked he was in awe. The smile stayed with me for the rest of the day.

After the Disney parade it was on to the rides Ryan beaming with delight, and because we got straight on to the rides we fitted loads in even on the first day.

When we saw the first character "Goofy" he was surrounded by children trying to get autographs & parents with cameras, we saw a staff member near by and showed her Ryan's badge she took him by the hand up to Goofy she whispered to him. Goofy then sat Ryan on his knee and had all the time in the world for him this made Ryan feel so special and of course he is.

That night sat in the hotel with my throbbing feet it did bring it all home to me. All the pain he's been through but looking at him asleep with Micky all I could feel was his happiness.

This trip is a once in a life time holiday and it is truly magical for all. The children still believe and are treated so special and we only have to look at them to feel the magic ourselves.
