| Christmas Pantomimes |
December 2005 |
It was our pleasure to arrange tickets for our families to attend the Christmas Pantomimes in both Swansea and Cardiff.
Cardiff offered the Musical of Peter Pan, with Paul Nicholas as Captain Hook, and Tinker bell on roller skates. The atmosphere was one of excitement with audience delighting at the wonderful scenery and catchy songs. We were also fortunate to receive a free ice cream for each member of the Christian Lewis party, claimed at the interval. Each family seemed to really enjoy the occasion and was well and truly full of Christmas spirit.
In Swansea, footballers wives star Gillian Tayleforth stared as the wicked stepmother in an adaptation of Snow White. There was plenty of booing and hissing each time she entered the stage and one of our parents was 'fortunate' enough to catch the eye of Nursie and was requested to the stage throughout the show. The show offered pyrotechnics and a clever gadget as the talking mirror so central to the story. We were close to the stage and really felt a part of the energy of the show. At the end as we made our way out to a crisp December evening, it seemed that all who had attended had really enjoyed the performance and some even had plans to see the show again.
