Christian Lewis Trust Children's Cancer Charity

Our own Judith May did the honours for us and formally took possesion at Greenacres Holiday Park, Porthmadog of a new luxury mobile home for the purpose of giving children with cancer and their families a holiday to remember.

Judith said "For the past eight years Christian Lewis Trust have been offering holidays on this site, free of charge to families with children affected by cancer. During this time the caravan has not been empty for a single week during the holiday season.

"The charity is absolutely thrilled that donations from the public have enabled us to replace the existing mobile home with a brand new wheelchair friendly mobile home. We look forward to welcoming hundreds of families to this site in the coming years." Judith also wanted to thank Bryan and Anwen Griffiths, the staff at Greenacres, ACS Contract Cleaning, Porthmadog and those running local attractions who do ao much to warmly welcome the families who stay at the mobile home and make their stay so enjoyable. The new mobile home has all the home comforts you would expect including double glazing and central heating and has been specially designed for wheelchair users enabling families to take a much needed holiday - often for the fist time.
